Gwen Hardie (b. 1962) is a New York-based painter whose work masterfully creates an illusion of three-dimensional space through the use of color and tone in oil painting.
Born in Scotland, Hardie lived and worked in London and Berlin before settling in New York City in 2000. Hardie's work is held in several public collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, NY, the British Council, The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh, and more.
