Sarah Giannobile, is an abstract painter from St. Louis, Missouri.    Giannobile's lyrical, abstract compositions emerge intuitively, drawing inspiration from dreams and memories of past experiences. Through layered, instinctive mark-making and repeated impressions of invented symbols, she has developed a unique visual language, refined and revisited over many years.

She holds a BFA from Webster University and both an MA and MFA from Fontbonne University. Giannobile also received a scholarship to study at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center, where she worked under the guidance of artist William Christenberry.
